NYU Alumni Mobile-Responsive Email Redesign
In the beginning of 2016, we saw that almost 50% of our alumni were visiting our site and opening our emails on cell phones and tablets. As it stood, our emails were not optimized for mobile viewing.
As part of the mobile-responsive website redesign, we worked with an external vendor to develop templates for event marketing, newsletter, memos, and other single call-to-action emails.
I created school- and department-specific templates for our partners throughout the University. Historically, I would provide two-hour in-person training once a month to new email marketers. To improve efficiency, I worked with BATR to develop an on-demand training process, while continuing to offer troubleshooting and best practices when needed.
