Hello, I'm Rose.

When I was 14, I discovered the "View Source" function in my browser, designed my first LiveJournal layout*, and never looked back. My curiosity, creativity, and capacity to energize groups fuel my approach to problem-solving.

With a decade of professional experience in non-profits and higher education, I am passionate about using compelling storytelling to build community and increase understanding.

My magic powers are

• Fostering cross-sectional buy-in from brainstorming to debrief

• Creating project plans with clearly defined tasks, timelines, milestones, and measurements

• Delivering on assignments and knowing when to engage others’ expertise

You will find me most energized standing in front of a whiteboard covered in Post-Its, sorting out a problem and helping others articulate their ideas. My mind sees the inter-connectivity of tasks and can quickly zoom in on minute details and out to the big picture impact. I am hands-on and enjoy learning by doing, so I've done a bit of everything–from magazine production to writing copy to editing video–the list goes on.

We all have the power to make our communities more inclusive, accessible, and sustainable. I strive to improve the world by working on my organization’s Core Values and Accountability and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Groups, volunteering with local mutual aid groups, producing an educational podcast to increase bisexual visibility, and engaging in resume reviews and networking with those entering the workforce or changing fields.

Outside of work, I am a cyclist, volunteer, aspiring roller skater, reader, camper, concert-goer, and the friend who sends out a vacation itinerary, complete with a Google Sheet for calculating costs.
